Expand Middle School CTE & Career Advisement & Development Under Perkins V

The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V) puts an intentional emphasis on career guidance and advisement starting in middle school as a way to support potential and current CTE students in success in college and careers. Perkins V also expands the definition of CTE to potentially include career exploration beginning in middle grades. Learn how states can reflect on current and future efforts to provide career guidance and advisement to all students through K-12 and identify strategies for expanding CTE into the middle grades.
